Some people desire to feel
and to be felt, and filled
with the depth
and truth of love,
the genuineness.
Other people have given up
on finding anything true
in love—
drunk in betrayal,
still drowning in hate.
Love is beautiful,
but to love is also to live
and to live is to know everything—
beauty and pain,
joy and sorrow,
heartbeats and heartaches,
warmth and cold.
Love is more.
Eventually, love is everything.

of the heart of another,
