Then and Now and Then (A poetic note & chain): III of VI

Prev.: Then and Now and Then II

(Promises…)

I remember our quiet nights. I remember my promises. I would give my all to you. I would walk this life with you. I would fight beside you. I would bleed for you. I would show you my scars. I would wipe your tears. I would hold your hand when you’d be low. I would be there. I would be there.

I may never be there. It kills me. I may never keep my promises. I have excuses. But you deserve better. I have enough words of blame. It starts and ends with me. Forgive me.

  1. Yes l do
You have a fine way of adressing matters of the heart
Which by mere reading is therapeutic

Thank you for answering to my note
It is storming here and we may have power outage due to bad weather like we did last night
I was so sad because i couldn’t wat the Adele concert.
    Anyway that is life.
    Wishing you a beautiful day.

    1. Thank you so much!

Sorry about the storm and power outage. Nature has its ways!

You could perhaps catch up today on Adele’s concert. Sure, it won’t be half as fun as it would have been, but perhaps it could offer a little comfort?
      I hope 😁 and I wish you a beautiful day ☺

      1. You know i didnt even think that there would be a repeat of the concert. I missed practically 3/4 of the show so i think it will still be exciting. In any case it was a recording and not live.
It is our season of storms, especially in the evening we are bound to power outages aside from loadshedding.
Wishing you a beautiful day too☺
