Then and Now and Then (A poetic note & chain): II of VI

Prev.: Then and Now and Then I

(A path…)

I have not watched you grow up. It rips me apart, within. I am in little pieces, every time I glance back:

I am a child again. It is beautiful, this fire in me. This excitement for life. This spirit of exploration; enthusiasm for discovering. I want to see the world. I want to interact with the world. I want to make and enjoy life. I want to laugh the loudest. I want to smile the broadest. I want to know and be known.

I am fearless. I am bold. I make a million wishes for my trials. I triumph and I lose. I die and I rise. I faulter. I make mistakes. I am shameful and I am shameless. I learn, and I try again.

I am fearless. I am bold. I say a million prayers for my wars. I fight everyone. I fight for everything. I bleed and I scar. I heal, I heal fast. I keep going, I keep living, I keep fighting. I rebel, I rebel. I must discover my path.
