This week’s theme will be My 5 Reverse Etheree Poems.
What is a Reverse Etheree poem?
It is a style of composition for a poem with 10 lines. The lines are written in a descending order of syllables (beginning with 10 syllables for the first line, and descending to 1 syllable in the tenth line). 10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1.
An Etheree poem…
Named after Etheree Taylor, its creator, it features a poem with ten lines, written in ascending syllable-order, beginning with one syllable for the first line, then two syllables for the second line, three syllables for the third line… it ascends on to the tenth line, which has ten syllables.
You can consider a Reverse Etheree its opposite.
No subject restrictions and no rhyme scheme is necessary. You have only the formatting recommendations.
Between today, December 1 and the coming Monday, December 7, write at least one Simple Etheree poem for any five days. You can share as many as you would like whenever you can. Ping one of your pieces a day for the five days to this post.

Other forms of Etheree
Simple. A Simple Etheree features 10 lines in an ascending syllable order (beginning with 1 syllable for the first line, and progressing to 10 syllables in the tenth line). 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9-10.
Stacked. A Stacked Etheree features two combined Etherees (20 lines). You can combine two Simple Etherees, to get the order: 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9-10-1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9-10. Or you can combine a Simple Etheree and a Reverse Etheree, so that you have: 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9-10-10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1.
