O’, blessed sky,
Wash our pain in your pain,
Take our anger in yours,
Cover this darkness in your blanket,
Shine some light over our glimmer,
Cleanse this stuffed air,
With your breeze of hope and life…
O’, monless sky,
How dark as you my heart can feel,
How quiet, how empty are my withins,
Then raging fire, burning, like in you
And yet, we manage that calm for hours,
Burst with joy for stretches
And turn back gloom, or starred,
With hope, and beauty,
Or life in the dead of night,
With a glow so warm as the moon’s.
