Mama has everything to think about—
There is her mind; how does it even work?
There is the girl, o’, poor, little thing;
There is her rich man, oblivious of the truth
And then there is Mary, the cause of it all,
The messenger from hell, the beacon of evil.
Mama thinks, “Mary should learn a lesson,”
And the hate grows, and hate spreads fast.
The next day at work, as Mary yammers,
Mama thinks, “If your neck could break,”
And she slips into her pail, Mama
Her neck snaps and bye-bye she goes.
That is all for today; see you tomorrow.
