Life is to be lived, not controlled; and humanity is won by continuing to play in face of certain defeat. Ralph Ellison.
The past few months have been tough. A few times, I’ve tried and managed to scribble something and share. A point came when I had to put a pause on everything and focus on not only getting to a better state to continue writing but also settle everything else around me. Life gets quite unpredictable, and the easiest thing you can do at times is just live with what comes; see, it shouldn’t be controled.
Here’s a brief update of what I’ve picked up:
- Last week, I managed only Poetry Wednesday, and I found it quite interesting. I don’t usually plan the pieces I make on Poetry Wednesday, but for the bonus posts. Everything else usually comes up when it’s time to make a piece for every hour. I hope you enjoyed last week’s five, which majorly discussed life.
Coming up…
- This week should have activity here and on Meet your Characters. A post will go up tomorrow under discussions, and we will also have Poetry Wednesday. Either a discussion or a poetic note will go up on Thursday. On Friday, I may not post anything since I haven’t completed the previous narrative from Meet your Characters. Next week, however, we will have a review of this Sunday’s narrative, and possibly a short film script.
- I haven’t been able to fully embark on writing books, but the coming week will tell. The poetry collection was also affected by my inactivity, and will possibly take a while before it’s ready. I’ll update you as soon as it is.
- I will, hopefully, resume practicing and working on Spoken Word as soon as everything is back on track. I have plenty more short projects that are stacked somewhere, and I may not work on them until all the clutter is cleared.
That’s all for today; thank you for your time. Stay safe, see you tomorrow!
