The east looked orange
A beautiful orange
The land was full of corpses
Some buried, most walking
But it shone, the orange
A beautiful orange
Some sat, waiting for the end
Others lived, oblivious of it
Most did not really care
Neither seemed nature
As birds chirped, sweet songs
“Welcome again, dear orange
Oh, beautiful orange.”
The wind howled from the west
The end of it, a great howl
And as it sunk, the round beauty
Bid farewell, to the living and the dead
The magnificence was unimaginable
Much was lost, but for the beauty
In beginnings and in endings
